The Research Program 1 – Genetic Diversity and
Improvement – at AfricaRice underwent a comprehensive Center-Commissioned
External Review (CCER). The Review Panel was chaired by Dr Alain Ghesquiere,
and had Dr Oumar Niangado and Dr Flavio Breseghello as members.
In addition to visiting the Center’s facilities
and having detailed discussions with AfricaRice scientists at headquarters and
the research stations, the team also met with representatives from partner
organizations.
